Window and door installation in Mississauga
From the 1950s bungalows along Lakeshore to the 2000s builds in Churchill Meadows, we have worked on most of what Mississauga is made of. Most jobs installed within one week of your approved quote.
Mississauga has almost every era of GTA housing in one city
Knowing what is behind the trim before we open it up is what keeps a quote accurate and a job on schedule. Here is what we typically find across Mississauga.
1950s–60s bungalows near the water
Original wood or early aluminum units, often on their second replacement already. Openings are rarely square after seventy years of settling, and wind off Lake Ontario makes the perimeter seal matter more here than almost anywhere in the GTA.
1970s–80s subdivisions
The first generation of vinyl windows is now well past end of life across these neighbourhoods. Failed seals and fogged units are the classic complaint, and rough openings are usually standard sizes, which keeps the job simple.
1990s–2000s builds
Builder-grade units approaching twenty-five years. Still operable, but hardware is stiffening and the glass package is a full generation behind what we fit as standard.
Larger detached and estate homes
Big glass areas, specialty shapes and two-storey feature windows. These need proper sizing and hardware, not a catalogue nearest-fit.
Mixed eras, dense infill
Semis and older detached alongside new infill. Access and parking need planning, which we do at the measure rather than on the morning.
Village core, older brick
Character homes where trim profile matching matters as much as the window itself. See our finishing work →
Everything on the outside of the house, one crew
Windows, entrance doors, patio doors, garage doors, shutters and the finishing work around all of it — quoted together and installed by the same team.
Custom-sized vinyl
Casement, awning, picture, slider, hung and specialty shapes, built to your measured openings by Seal Tech in Concord. Triple-glazed 272/366 Low-E with argon as standard, not an upgrade. Explore windows →
Steel & fibreglass
Insulated entrance doors with sidelites, decorative glass and multi-point locking. Door glazing is specified separately from window glazing — for good reasons. Explore doors →
Sliding & stacking
Vista patio doors in two, three and four panel configurations, with retractable screen options on the stacking models. Explore patio doors →
California shutters
Custom shutters by Vinyl Windows Fashion, plus removal and refitting of your existing shutters when we replace the windows behind them. Explore shutters →
Full replacement
Matched to your home’s exterior and insulation requirements, installed by the same team. Explore garage doors →
Trim, framing & cleanup
Interior trim, framing repair, insulation fill, exterior caulking and disposal — included, not an add-on. See renovation work →

Questions from Mississauga homeowners
How quickly can you install in Mississauga?
Most Mississauga jobs are installed within one week of your approved quote. Our windows are built by Seal Tech in Concord rather than shipped in, which is the main reason we can move faster than a distribution-based supply chain.
My house is from the 1970s. Will the openings be a problem?
Usually not. Mississauga's 1970s and 1980s subdivisions were built to fairly standard opening sizes, which makes them straightforward. What we do check for is rot in the rough opening, which is common at that age and gets priced in your quote before we order.
Do you work near the lake in Port Credit and Lakeview?
Yes, regularly. Homes exposed to wind off the lake need particular attention to perimeter sealing and exterior caulking — the glass package matters less than the install quality in those conditions.
Do you work in condos or townhouses?
Houses, semis, freehold townhouses and ground-floor or accessible units, yes. For high-rise condos, contact us to discuss building access requirements before we quote.
