Window and door installation in Brampton
Brampton is a whole-home replacement market. Most of the city was built in two big waves, and both are hitting the age where the original windows go at once rather than one at a time.
Two building booms, both now due
Knowing what is behind the trim before we open it up is what keeps a quote accurate and a job on schedule. Here is what we typically find across Brampton.
1970s planned community
Some of the oldest post-war stock in Peel. Many homes are on their second set of windows, and the first replacements — often early vinyl from the 1990s — are now failing themselves.
1990s–2000s subdivisions
The biggest single group of homes we quote in Brampton. Builder-grade units at twenty to thirty years: fogged sealed units, stiff cranks, and a glass package two generations behind current standard.
2000s–2010s builds
Newer, but with high window counts. Fifteen to twenty-five openings on a single house is normal here, which is where volume pricing genuinely matters.
Larger detached homes
Two-storey foyer windows, arched transoms and wide sliders. Specialty shapes need proper templating, not a nearest-fit rectangle.
Older brick and character homes
Pre-war and mid-century stock around the core, where trim matching and framing repair are more likely to come into scope.
Twenty openings at once
When you are replacing an entire house rather than two windows, the per-unit number should come down. Ask us for the whole-home number rather than quoting it window by window.
Everything on the outside of the house, one crew
Windows, entrance doors, patio doors, garage doors, shutters and the finishing work around all of it — quoted together and installed by the same team.

Questions from Brampton homeowners
I need every window in the house done. Does that change the price?
Yes, and you should ask for it that way. Whole-home replacement is more efficient for us — one mobilisation, one crew, one delivery — and that should be reflected in the per-unit price. Do not accept a quote that simply multiplies a single-window price by twenty.
My windows are only 25 years old. Is it too early?
Often not. Builder-grade units from Brampton's 1990s and 2000s boom typically start failing between twenty and thirty years — fogged sealed units, cranks that no longer close tightly, and a glass package well behind current standard. If units are fogging, the seal has already failed.
Can you do a whole house in one week?
Usually yes. Most whole-home Brampton jobs are installed within one week of the approved quote. Very large houses with many specialty shapes take longer and we will tell you that upfront rather than promising a date we cannot hold.
I have arched and shaped windows above the front door. Can those be replaced?
Yes. Arched transoms, two-storey foyer windows and other specialty shapes are templated at the measure and built to that template. They cost more than a rectangle and take longer to manufacture — we price and schedule them separately so they do not hold up the rest of the house.
